Ajudem as crianças no seu primeiro negócio virtual | Help children on their first virtual business

Sou orientador do doutoramento de Ângela Pereira, que tem vindo a usar mundos virtuais para o ensino do empreendedorismo a crianças. No âmbito desse trabalho, 42 crianças do 3º ano do Ensino Básico desenvolveram durante o 3º período deste ano o projecto “Empreendedorismo no Ensino Básico” que consistiu na criação de negócios dentro do mundo virtual Active Worlds Education. No decurso deste projecto, as crianças desenvolveram várias actividades para a criação de um negócio, desde a ideia de negócio à venda dos produtos por eles efectuados.

Venham conhecer este projecto! Basta entrar no mundo virtual Active Worlds EDUcation, visitarem os 16 negócios criados pelas crianças e encomendarem, se quiserem, alguns dos produtos disponibilizados em cada negócio.

1º - Descarregar o Active Worlds EDUcation (clicar em "Download AWEDU Now!").
2º - Em vez de usar login/password, clicar no botão "Turista".
3º - Clicar em "Teleportar | Para" e indicar o mundo "EEB2".

Nota: carregando em Ctrl ao mesmo tempo que nas setas, anda-se mais depressa. Carregando em Shift pode-se passar entre os objectos.

I supervise the PhD research of Ângela Pereira, who has been using virtual worlds to teach entrepreneurship to children. Within the scope of this work, 42 children from the 3rd primary school grade have developed, in the 3rd term of the current school year, the project “Entrepreneurship in Basic Education”, by creating businesses in the Active Worlds Education virtual world. In this project, children developed the various activities related to the creation of a business, from the business idea to selling products made by themselves.

Come and meet this project! All you need is to enter the Active Worlds EDUcation virtual world, visit the 16 businesses created by children and order, if you so desire, products they are providing.

1º - Download Active Worlds EDUcation (click on "Download AWEDU Now!").
2º - Instead of using login/password, click on "Tourist".
3º - Click on "Teleport | To" e write-in as a destination the world "EEB2".

Note: by pressing Ctrl and the arrow keys at the same time, you walk faster; by pressing Shift, you walk through objects.
